Dai Yem Waterfall

Dai yem waterfall that is often called Ban Vat by local people is a historical landscape, which is close related to the inhabitant history of Thai people in Muon Sang land long time ago. Nowadays, this land is called Moc Chau with beautiful landscape.
From the intersection of frontier in Pa Hang, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau of Son La province, people could go along the spring for 4km to the intersection of two springs, and they could met a grandiose waterfall. It is said to be the brassiere of the girl who saved a boy from the flood, therefore, it is named Dai Yem.
From the water source from the mountain, the Vat spring flows to the waterfall has the length of nearly 5km. Water would fill the spring all year round. When it flows to this part, the spring is blocked by the limestone wall, and the water is stagnant and flows back to the lower bank and stroll down to create the waterfall to gather in the spring. Bo Sap is a large spring, which starts from Bo Sap village where the border of Vietnamese and Laos in Yen Chau land.
Back to the upstream of the spring, visitors would reach the first waterfall. The internal parts of the spring have many small and medium rocks with different strange shapes. In the rain season from April to September, the whole 70m of the width is a white curtain to flows to the river, which makes it romantic. The second waterfall has only one line from the height of 50m. The plants in the top of the waterfall are very plentiful to create the grandiosity for landscape.
The origination of the spring natures a village of Thai ethnic people that has the long history in this land. The waterfall is lower than the road; the way to this waterfall is among the houses where the corn and cassava are dried above. Following the path through the jungle and a slope, visitors would have chance to see the two springs flow down in the height of 100m. One spring has nine layers and the other has seven. The topography is quite high and dangerous in here, which creates the dark green of trees and leaves. The spumes around the sunlight create a rainbow, which could be seen randomly.
